Unlike GCSEs, Functional Skills courses are of excellent value both in terms of cost and time and can be completed within a period of weeks. The course modules on reading, writing, and basic communication as well as numbers, decimals, percentages, shapes, and data handling will provide insights to pass Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths, English, or both.

These functional skills qualifications are now well-recognized by many employers and universities throughout the UK and are generally accepted in place of GCSEs.

As an alternative qualification to GCSEs, this Functional Skills course will help you achieve grade C or higher at the GCSE level.

• Handling data – This helps you learn how to spot patterns such as summarizing and presenting information and see how even data and statistics can be biased.
