The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices qualification has been designed for individuals who want to work as Internal Quality Assurer to make sure the quality of work. This award enables learners to become Internal quality Assurer and work in any sector. Achieving this Award will provide sufficient evidence that the learner has acquired the necessary skills and knowledge to work as an Internal Verifier or Internal Quality Assurer. This qualification is formerly known as Internal Verifier qualification or D34/D35.

There is no formal examination for this course, however learners are required to submit the portfolio. The unit 1 of the course is assessed by e-portfolio which demonstrates Learner’s knowledge against each of the assessment criteria of the course. Unit 2 will be assessed by learner practically completing the internal verifier/Quality assurance activities at workplace.

There is no formal requirement for this course as long as the candidate has basic functional skills (Numeracy, Literacy and ICT). You will also have to provide us with your Photo Identification such as Passport or Full UK driving Licence and Proof of Address of last 3 months.

Successful candidates will receive a Level 2 Award in Door Supervision certificate from an awarding body within England and Wales who are currently recognised by Ofqual and Department for Education and Skills.

You will be able to work in Private Security Industry such as bars, pubs, clubs and other licenced premises at public events. The average salary for door supervisor is £17000 – £22000 per annum.
The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (IQA) is a 12 credit and 90 guided learning hour qualification consisting of 2 mandatory units. It is part of the new suite of qualifications for assessors, internal quality assurers (IQA), and is intended for those who maintain and improve the quality of assessment from within an organisation or assessment centre.
The main role of an IQA includes – Develop and support Assessors by monitoring the activities of the Assessors, ensuring they have time, resources, and experience to carry out assessment duties, and taking appropriate action when required.
The total time required for this qualification is 120 hours and of these 90 hours are recommended as guided learning hours.
The topics include the context, principles and planning of internal quality assurance and monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of the quality of assessment, managing relevant information and legal requirements for the internal quality assurance of assessment.
There are no formal examinations, and the course is assessed by coursework alone.
