First Aid at Work has been designed for candidates to achieve a nationally recognised award in First Aid. The course is designed to train individuals up to the standard by the Health and Safety Executive for the purpose of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Who is this course suitable for?

This course is designed for people who already have an existing Level 3 First Aid at work certificate which is due to renewal or has recently expired. If your certificate has expired more than 28 days then you will require to attend 3 days First Aid at Work qualification.

What will I Learn: First Aid At Work Requalification Course Content

Once enrolled on First at work requalification, you will be refreshing your practical skills that you learnt in your initial training. You will also be updated on latest guidelines and procedures to use your First Aid skills. This course will cover the following:
  • Primary Survey (DRABCD)
  • Choking
  • Assessment of Injury/unconscious casualty
  • CPR
  • Spinal Injury Management
  • Bleeding & Shock Management
  • Major Illness
  • Fractures
  • Updated reporting processes.
  • Anaphylaxis and Epi-Pen use
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED)


How long is the First Aid at Work Requalification Course?

The Level 3 First Aid at Work Requalification/Refesher course is delivered in 2 consecutive days. The course normally starts at 9:00AM and finishes at 4:00PM.

Entry Requirements:

You would require showing your Current First Aid at Work qualification. The candidate requires to have basic functional skills (Numeracy, Literacy and ICT). You will also have to provide us with your Photo Identification such as Passport or Full UK driving Licence and Proof of Address of the last 3 months to join the training.

What certificate am I going to receive?

Once you complete the qualification successfully, you will be awarded a Level 3 First Aid at Work certificate which is valid for 3 years.
