Below you will find our terms & conditions on which we offer you access to our services. It is expected that you have read our terms & conditions before registering for your course with us face to face, online, or over the phone.

Welcome to Bright Learning Centre. By using Bright Learning Centre (including brightlearningcentre.co.uk and its related sites, services and tools), you agree to the following terms with Bright Learning Centre Limited.

This Agreement is effective on January 1, 2015, for current users, and upon acceptance for new users.

  • All customers must provide us with correct and accurate information in respect to their personal details including full name, date of birth and current address. Please note that failure to do so will result in the candidate being liable for any administration costs charged by the awarding body for correction.
  • All bookings at Bright Learning Centre are subject to availability of spaces and relevant resources.
  • Learners must not share their learning material or login details with anyone else. In such case enrolment will be cancelled.
  • It is against our terms for learners to take learning material(s) out of our centre(s) for their personal or professional use and could be reported for theft.
  • Please check that you meet all the required criteria before booking any course with Bright Learning. Ineligible candidates will be refused to attend the course and no refund will be issued.
  • Customers who make the booking via phone, in person, e-mail or through website are liable to pay for any balance outstanding before starting the course.
  • All our prices are subject to change until the customer has made the payment in full or put down a deposit.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or change classes timing at any time by giving enough notice to learners.
  • Bright Learning Centre endeavours to run all courses that we advertise. However, if there are less than four people due to attend a course, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the course and we aim to give learner enough notice. In the event of cancellation, the Learner will be entitled to attend another course or take a full refund of the course fee, but Bright Learning Centre shall not be liable for any other loss or expense arising.
  • Bright Learning reserves the right to change the venue of course with another suitable venue. We will notify all candidates via email, text, or telephone at least 24 hours before the start of the course. Please note we may only ever change the venue location if there is an utmost need for it and there is no other option available to us to accommodate customers at the original location. In the unlikely event of cancellation of any courses by Bright Learning, Damages shall be limited to a full refund of the course fee only.
  • Upon booking the course with us, you will receive an automated booking confirmation email. If for any reason, you have not received this email within 2 hours and you have checked your spam/junk mail please give us a call during our office hours (Mon-Fri 10:00-18:00) on 01162101070 so that we can resend it to you manually.
  • Bright Learning is not liable for misplaced certificates in the post. The replacement certificate cost is £50.00
  • To ensure certificate is not lost in the post, we advise learners to arrange a Royal Mail Recorded Delivery service with us prior to the completion of the course. This service must be paid by the learner.
  • Any sort of unacceptable behaviour at Bright Learning will lead to exclusion from the course for which we will not offer any refund.
  • Failure to comply to all of your course requirements including any of our Terms and Conditions will result in your removal from the course and any fee paid towards to the course will be forfeited.
  • 100% attendance is a must; any late arrivals are not acceptable and can result in removal from the course without any refund.
  • Course reservations are not transferrable to any other individual unless authorised by us and course dates & timings cannot be changed by learners.
If you need to cancel or amend the course booking:

If you need to cancel or amend a confirmed booking, cancellation/amendment charges may incur. Any cancellation / refund request you make must be in writing either by letter or email on info@brightlearningcentre.co.uk. Fees paid by employers on behalf of clients is non-refundable. Any verbal communication with staff members about refunds or cancellation will not be considered at all.

Cancelling your course:

  • All bookings are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend the course, you may be able to reschedule it if your course plan allows this or a reschedule fee of £150 will apply. We may be able place your booking on hold if you contact us within 24 hours of your booking.
  • If you have paid a deposit and fail to notify of non-attendance, you are not eligible for a reschedule. Then you will not receive a reimbursement of your deposit and the remaining payment will be due.
  • In the event of non-attendance where payment has been received, you will not be eligible for a refund.
  • If you have to cancel your course due to a medical reason, we will require evidence i.e. Doctor’s letter. In this case administration & handling fee of £150 would be charged or deducted from your order amount when you require a refund due to a medical reason.
  • Please note that, no refund or cancellation rule applies once the learner has already started the classes.
Rescheduling your course:
  • If you require to reschedule the course for any reason, you need to send your rescheduling request via email 72 hours before the start of the course. There will be a fee of £150 to reschedule any course.
  • If you have enrolled with our Premium package, you are required to give us at least 48 hours’ notice for free rescheduling before the course starts. If the request is made after 48 hours, then there will be a cost of £150. We only allow 2 rescheduling per booking.
  • If you do not give us required notice to reschedule the course, you will not be eligible for any refund at all or to attend any future course.
  • If we agree to reschedule the course date with you, you will need to book the next course with us within the 6 months period. We only allow 2 rescheduling per booking. If you do not attend a course within 6 months of the initial course start date, you will be required to complete a new booking.
  • If you do not reschedule your course before it starts or fail to attend the course you have booked, regardless of the package you have purchased, you will not be eligible for any refund and will need to make a new booking to attend any future course.
  • If you cannot attend the full course or absent after starting the course for medical reason, we would require evidence i.e., doctor’s letter. In this case admin and registration fee of £150.00 applies to reschedule the cours

Cancellation by us:

  • It is learner’s responsibility to make sure they meet the eligibility criteria and provide required documents to attend the course they have booked with us. If you booked the course but you do not meet the eligibility requirements or failed t0 provide the required documents, you will be sent home on Day 1 & not eligible for any refund. You will be required to pay £150.00 to reschedule if you wish to attend new course. 

  • If we conduct a literacy test and you are unable to pass, then you be given refund after deducting handling and administration fee of £150.00 from your order amount.

  • If you are late for the course, you must contact us immediately. If you are substantially late for the course, you will have to reschedule on to the next cousre at the cost of £150 rescheduling fee. 

  • If for any reason, we cancel the course, you are eligible for full refund or you can attend our next available course subject to availability.

Bright learning centre operates no refund and no cancellation/reschedule policy for discounted courses.

Under guidance of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you may cancel your purchase of the course within the period of 14 calendar days (cancellation period) from the date on which the contract of purchase is concluded. Please note that, the right to cancel will not apply, after we issued your login details for online study platform under the rules of distance selling of downloads and streaming services. Online only non-accredited courses are outside the scope of regulations, and therefore non-refundable.

  1. If you choose to cancel within this period, admin and registration fee of £199.00 applies for each course (which will be deducted) remaining deposit/amount will be refunded within 30 days if you are eligible for refunds.
  2. If we posted any study material to you, you should return them to us before the refund. Please allow up to 2 working days to receive your online training details (Login details).
  3. Once a course has been redeemed, we cannot grant a refund. All refund requests has be sent to info@brightlearningcentre.co.uk or posted to: 129 Evington Road, Leicester, LE2 1QJ
  4. If you want to switch your course from classroom based to online or otherwise, admin fee of £99.00 is payable.

Any cancellation / refund request you make must be in writing either by email or letter. Fees paid by employers on behalf of clients is non-refundable. “Please note that once you download our course materials or login details are provided or learning material provided you automatically give up your cancellation rights”  

  • SIA Security Courses: Resit fee is £95.00
  • Personal Licence Course – £50 Resit Fee
  • CSCS Green Card Course –  £50 Resit Fee
  • First Aid Courses – £50 Resit Fee
  • Our unlimited resit service allows to you to resit 20 exams for free including the original attempt. There are 4 unit exams in the course so we offer you 5 free session which has to be used within the 6 months of the date course purchase or before the new course material introduced by the Awarding body, whichever is sooner. Plesae keep in mind these resits are subject to availability.
  • If you fail to attend the resit session you booked with us for any reason, you will loose the resit fee paid.
  • If you are eligible for unlimited resits and do not turn up to the resit session booked with us, you will lose the right to any further free resit bookings and would need to pay the standard resit fee of £95 for any future resits.
  • For other qualifications resit exam fees may vary, please contact us for further information.

If you have enrolled for a course that is externally marked by the awarding body, then results will be issued within following timeline:

  • SIA course results – 14 working days
  • Functional Skills & any other BTEC qualifications – 4 – 6 weeks

There may be further delays to results on some occasions. Bright Learning centre is not liable for any kind of loss in case of any results delays caused by the awarding body.
